This is a classic Fifties Style circle skirt, worn in picture with a two layer net petticoat. You can dance the night away in this little number. So easy to make, it has a zip fastening at the back of the skirt, but if you like you could make things even easier and use elastic instead.
Alma is a fantastically versaltile wriggle skirt. She has a fitted waist with darts to the front and back, concealed zip and no waistband, with a split at the back so very easy to make. She can be made high waisted, mid waisted or very low waisted depending on the look you want to achieve. Flattering to the figure, on trend and easy to make. What are you waiting for?! Alma can be made with or without lining depending on your fabric. Suitable fabrics are bengaline stretch fabric (no lining required with this), polyester (as shown), cotton works well if made slightly bigger than your natural size to give room for movement, or any other fabric you fancy with a slight give in it.
